The Court of Appeal has frozen the assets of two Kiwi tech entrepreneurs who are facing court action in Singapore.The case is novel because the New Zealand court has allowed the claimant, MB Technology, to pay security for costs in cryptocurrency.Blockchain company MB Technology is suing David Yu and Daniel Crothers and their company Ecomi in the High Court of Singapore.Ecomi is a technology firm which is selling a secure wallet app for digital assets like bitcoin and Veve, an unlaunched app for digital collectibles.
