Meta has hit out at a draft decision to approve the News Publishers’ Association’s (NPA) collective bargaining bid with the social media giant and Google, claiming the cross-industry agreement could amount to cartel activity.In a submission to the Commerce Commission – which provisionally approved the NPA bid in August – Meta criticised the competition watchdog for “a lack of rigorous analysis against the legal criteria” when making the decision.The social network group referred to the collective bargaining a...
