Partner exits Buddle Findlay after allegations of 'inappropriate' behaviour

Buddle Findlay’s head of resource management has left the firm.Patrick Mulligan will leave the partnership at the end of this month and move to the independent bar.The Aotearoa Legal Workers’ Union has been engaging with the firm over its treatment of staff.The union said in a statement Mulligan was involved in two incidents, one in 2018 where the partner apologised to a student from AUT University after making inappropriate comments at a student event.A second incident occurred at a staff Christmas party in 2020 which the union bel...
