Lazard Asset Management: ‘We have a paradigm shift in inflation’

Lazard Asset Management managing director Ron Temple says low inflation is a thing of the past and it may be hard for investors to secure real returns in the next few years.  “I do think we have a paradigm shift in inflation, 1.7% core CPI through the decade into 2019 is behind us. "I think for the next five years we are likely to see 3% to 3.5% inflation,” he said. This aligns roughly with local thinking.
