Meridian hits the mark with new CEO; Neal Barclay to exit in 2025

Meridian chief executive Neal Barclay will exit the listed energy company next year. In a statement to the New Zealand Exchange (NZX), Meridian said Barclay had decided to step down in June 2025. Current Meridian chief financial officer Mike Roan will be the firm’s new chief executive officer (CEO). Barclay was appointed to lead Meridian in January 2018, taking over from former executive Mark Binns. Meridian chair Mark Verbiest said Barclay had grown a renewable development pipeline that would double the size of the co...
