Metro Performance Glass has been caught out by the employment regulator for contracts that did not correctly treat Holidays Act entitlements.  The company has been arguing with the Labour Inspectorate following the regulator’s 2017 audit of Metropolitian Glass & Glazing, a subsidiary of the NZX-listed firm.  According to a recently released Employment Court judgment, labour inspectors questioned two parts of Metro Glass’s employment contracts – its short-term incentive schemes and how it treated annual holidays during its annual Christmas...
