News that Argentina has announced a 30-day ban on all beef exports is an opportunity for New Zealand’s red meat sector.Rising domestic beef prices in the South American nation spurred the government to implement a series of emergency measures aimed at clamping down on speculation and tax evasion, Argentina's Ministry of Development said.Exports will be suspended for 30 days while the measures are being implemented.
