Ballance Agri-Nutrients is set to get around the table to renegotiate its long-term gas supply this year.Its chief executive, Kelvin Wickham, wants cross-party support to give businesses the confidence to invest in renewable energy beyond political cycles.The fertiliser co-operative, one of two in New Zealand, is one of the country’s largest gas users.It owns the country’s only ammonia-urea manufacturing plant at Kapuni in Taranaki.
