Burger Fuel has hit back against claims its proposed $4 million shareholder payout could be unfair to small investors. The New Zealand stock exchange (NZX) listed company has a court date set for May for its proposed scheme of arrangement to return millions to shareholders. It says the cash should be returned to them because it was raised to invest in a planned joint venture with Subway, which didn’t proceed. Burger Fuel founder Chris Mason has filed a notice of opposition to the proposed scheme of arrangement. The NZ...
