The founder of Michael Hill is stepping down from the board to undergo cancer treatment.In a shareholder announcement on Monday, Sir Michael Hill said he was taking a leave of absence from the company and that Andrea Slingsby would be appointed as the alternative director.The company said in its statement to the NZX that Slingsby had extensive board governance, consulting and advisory experience across a range of industry sectors including global retail.Her previous roles with Michael Hill included Interim chief people office from August 2018 t...
