The Warehouse Group plans to cut nine stores and as many as a thousand employees as it responds to the economic impacts of covid-19.The group said it is looking to close six stores, in addition to three already announced, as part of a proposal to shift the business to an 'agile' operating model.Approximately 700 to 950 store roles would be cut as a result of the closures and operating model changes, as well as 100 to 130 jobs from the group’s head office.Many store roles are filled by part-time employees, so the losses t...
