BLIS Technologies has reported a strong first quarter, with a 23% increase in revenue and EBITDA of $0.5 million.

Revenue for the quarter reached $3.4m, up $0.6m from the same period last year, while EBITDA improved from breakeven in 1Q24.

The growth in revenue was attributed to an increase in both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales channels.

B2B revenue saw a 19% growth, partially driven by the carry over of US customer orders.

B2C revenues, including NZ wholesale, Amazon USA, and the BLIS webstore, grew by 31%.

However, Daigou revenues were significantly reduced due to operator rationalisation in the market.

Looking ahead, BLIS Technologies expects double-digit revenue growth for the full year and a similar EBITDA result as last year, but noted that it will make a $0.5m investment in China regulatory access.
