Cooks Coffee Company Limited (NZX: CCC) has issued 4,647,445 new shares at NZ$0.36 (£0.18) in part placement of the shortfall from its 2022 rights issue.
In addition, the trustees of the Nikau Trust agreed with CCC to reclassify 1,162,000 of their non-voting shares as ordinary shares, increasing the number of ordinary shares on issue.
Accordingly, CCC currently has 59,297,752 quoted ordinary shares and 1,207,000 unquoted non-voting shares (which may be reclassified on notice as quoted ordinary shares) on issue.
The S&P/NZX 50 Index closed at 12,904.11, up 149.96 points or 1.18%.
Cost savings were behind the decision to delist, the company says.
