Tax changes, rent package coming to help small business: Robertson

Tax system changes will be among measures outlined to assist small and medium-sized businesses in a speech to Business New Zealand tomorrow from Finance Minister Grant Robertson.Speaking at today's post-Cabinet press conference, Robertson said further assistance for SMEs was in the pipeline, including tax changes. He appeared also to hint at extensions to the wage subsidy scheme, perhaps on a week-by-week rather than lump sum basis.Also under consideration are measures to assist with commercial rent relief, with many businesses facing landlords...
