Full trading on Carbonz has resumed after questions about the credibility of the carbon units on offer were raised last week.Carbonz is an attempt to set up a voluntary certified carbon credit trading scheme the public can take part in.It is offering two types of units.One is for a form of New Zealand units (NZUs) which qualify under the government’s emissions trading scheme (ETS) as a carbon credit and are verified as coming from native forest by Carbonz. The second is a native CarbonCrop unit (CCU) – the equivalent of absorbi...
