Listed hotel group Millennium and Copthorne Hotels (MCK) has filed for an injunction against the Waitangi National Trust Board for renewal of its ground lease at its Copthorne Hotel and Resort Bay of Islands.In a statement to the NZX, MCK said it had lodged the documents in the Whangārei high court on Friday in respect of the renewal of the lease for the land on which the hotel sits.While MCK didn't specify what issues they were having with the landowners, managing director Boo Chiu said the legal route was "very much a last resort&quo...
