MARKET OPEN: Domestic market may have tentative start to week

The domestic market may have a tentative start to the week after Wall Street fell on Friday amid ongoing US-China tensions and rising covid-19 cases across much of the US. “US-China tensions and growth fears continued to dominate market sentiment,” said ANZ Bank chief economist Sharon Zollner. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 0.7 percent, the S&P500 lost 0.6 percent while the Nasdaq ended down 0.9 percent. China on Friday ordered the US to close its consulate in Chengdu after the US closure of the Chinese consulate in Houston....
