MARKET OPEN: Domestic market may have tentative start to week

The domestic market may have a tentative start to the week after Wall Street fell on Friday amid ongoing US-China tensions and rising covid-19 cases across much of the US. “US-China tensions and growth fears continued to dominate market sentiment,” said ANZ Bank chief economist Sharon Zollner. The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 0.7 percent, the S&P500 lost 0.6 percent while the Nasdaq ended down 0.9 percent.
