MARKET OPEN: It's all about the possible lockdown extension

Domestic investors waiting to see whether current lockdown restrictions will be extended and weak trading on Wall Street won’t spur much enthusiasm. A further 13 community transferred cases of covid-19 were identified in Auckland yesterday and more positive cases are regarded as highly likely.  Auckland is currently in level 3 lockdown while the rest of the country is at level 2. The lockdowns are technically set to run until 11:59pm on Friday night. The government will make an announcement at approximately 5:30pm on a possible extension....
