The domestic market may get a lift after Wall Street gained on stronger-than-expected housing data. Pending home sales mounted a record comeback in May, seeing encouraging contract activity after two previous months of declines brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, the National Association of Realtors said. The index – an indicator of home sales based on contract signings – rose 44.3 percent in May to 99.6. Economists polled by Reuters had expected pending home contracts to rebound by 18.9 percent.
