The New Zealand dollar firmed, with traders expecting the currency's slide to resume as more news emerges on the spread of coronavirus beyond China. The kiwi was trading at 63.47 US cents at 5pm in Wellington from 63.24 cents at the same time yesterday. The trade-weighted index was at 70.98 points from 70.86.
