Investment company Allied Farmers beat its late January guidance and continues to mull its option to buy up the rest of NZ Rural Land Management. The company reported a net profit from continuing operations of $1.44 million for the six months to Dec 31, above the range of $1.2m to $1.4m it signalled on Jan 28.Net profit was $531,000 in the same period a year earlier. This higher result reflects the inclusion for the first time (for an interim period) of the NZ Rural Land Management contribution (NZRLM), it said. NZRLM manages New...
