Ballance Agri-Nutrients is looking to halt the manufacturing of sulphuric acid and single super phosphate at its Mount Maunganui site.If the plan goes ahead, 68 roles would be disestablished, and six new roles would be created, resulting in a net reduction of 62 roles.The site also houses its head office and, given its proximity to the Port of Tauranga, would continue to do so while being used for nutrient storage and distribution.Phosphate would continue to be manufactured at its Awarua facility near Invercargill, and urea would be manufacture...
