The Government has made the long-awaited move to require government agencies to use wool fibres in government buildings.The directive was part of the coalition agreement between National and NZ First but was only officially announced by Economic Growth Minister Nicola Willis and Wool Minister Mark Patterson on Wednesday.From the start of July, government agencies will be directed to use woollen fibre products in the construction and refurbishment of government buildings, “where practical and appropriate”.The requirements would apply...
