Higher fruit volumes have helped horticulture group Seeka return to profitability with a $8.7 million net profit after tax.Before tax, it reported a record profit of $29.7m – within the range of $27.5m to $31.5m it signalled to the market in late January.The NZX-listed enterprise's after-tax profit for the 12 months to December compared to a $14.4m loss in the year prior.Seeka's results also includes a $12.5m one-off non-cash deferred tax charge due to the Government’s removal of tax deductibility of depreciation on building...
