PGG Wrightson will resume paying dividends as confidence and spending returns among farming businesses.The NZX-listed rural services firm’s operating earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (ebitda) increased 13%, or by $4.7 million, to $41.4m in the six months to December 2024.Its net profit was up 25% to $16m with a 2% increase in operating revenue to $570m.Having not paid a dividend in 2024 given the uncertainties the sector was facing, it declared an interim dividend of 2.5 cents per share.Its share price fel...
