A $73 million increase in livestock value off the back of rising market pricing has pushed Landcorp to a net profit.That’s despite its operating profit being in the red.The non-cash valuation gain pushed its net profit for the six months to December 2024 to $62m, compared to an $8m loss in the same period in 2023.Its operating profit, which is the state-owned farmer’s preferred measure, was at a loss of $2m for the period.But it now expects full-year operating profit to be between $43m and $51m, compared to its forecast in November...
