Silver Fern Farms has remained in the red, with a recovery in red meat prices coming too late to offset increased procurement tensions.The country’s largest meat company reported a loss of $21.8 million after tax – compared to $24.4m in 2023 – with revenue decreasing $144m on the previous year to $2.64 billion.Silver Fern Farms (SFF), which trades as the operating company, had earnings before interest, tax depreciation and amortisation (ebitda) of $32.7m, compared to last year’s $16.4m.Meanwhile, SFF Co-operative, w...
