New Zealand has hit a new peak of covid cases, with 19,566 reported today taking the tally to just under 100,000 covid cases.More than 17,000 of the new cases had been picked up via self-administered rapid antigen tests (RATs). There are 373 people with covid being treated in hospital, with nine in intensive care. The average age of those in hospital is 52, according to the Ministry of Health. Counties Manukau added 4,989 community cases over the past day, bringing the area's case numbers to 36,831, more than 6% of a population of 578,...
