Mainfreight cites 'challenging' trading conditions as half-year profits dip

Mainfreight has reported an 8% dip in net profit for the first half of 2025, achieving a $114.5 million result as it contends with challenging trading conditions.The global supply chain business, which has a market capitalisation of more than $7 billion, released its results for the six months to Sept 30 on Wednesday.In its release to the New Zealand Exchange (NZX), Mainfreight said its result was marginally better than the guidance it gave to investors in Texas on Oct 7.Revenue was up 8.4%to $2.55b and profit before tax was down 7.8% to $161.2...
