NZX listed Move Logistics has dipped its toe into a new service between smaller NZ ports and the east coast of Australia, starting off with fish feed for NZ aquaculture companies.
A construction contract for the $14.6 billion light rail project isn't expected to be awarded until September 2025.
The move will also help AT reduce its environmental impact, said AT's business technology manager Roger Jones.
Auckland council wants to redirect more than $100m in fuel tax revenue to other transport projects.
